Privacy notice

Written in plain language, in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR).

What we collect

Your name, phone number, unit or house number, a photo of you (used as a visual ID at the gate), your emergency contact, and — only when you raise a security alert — your location at that moment.

Why we collect it

So security operatives can confirm who belongs in the estate, so your visitors can be verified at the gate, and so help can reach the right address quickly during an emergency.

Who can see it

Only people in your own estate: your estate admin, on-duty security operatives, and artisans assigned to a job you raised. No other estate on Strande can see your data. Crimson Strande staff can only view estate data under a time-limited, logged support access grant approved for a stated reason.

Location data

Location is captured only at the moment you press the SOS button, never in the background, and is attached to that single incident record.

How long we keep it

For as long as you are a registered member of the estate, plus the period your estate association is required to keep security records. Incident and gate logs are retained for post-event review.

Your rights under the NDPR

You can ask to see your data, correct it, or request its deletion at any time from Settings → Delete my data. Your estate admin is notified and the request is logged. Where a record must be kept for security or legal reasons, we will tell you.

Security

Data is stored encrypted, isolated per estate, and access is enforced by database-level rules — not just by the app screens.
